Work & Live in Australia

Work & Live in Australia under Skilled Migration Visas Scheme.
Australia’s economy is strong and the country is actively encouraging immigration of workers from a wide variety of skill groups.
Skilled workers emigrating to Australia are assessed on a points-based system with points awarded for qualifications, work experience, English fluency, and age. Pass marks exist for each category and before you apply, you must ensure that your points total meets the target for your desired visa.
The current points system for skilled visas is based on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL), which lists all eligible occupations for migration and the points requirement for each occupation. The points system was substantially revised on 1st of July 2011. All visa applications lodged prior to this date will be assessed according to the previous system. All occupations lodged on or after 1st of July will be assessed in line with the new points system in place now.
